Pretty much my exact thoughts on how we should be playing. About the only combo he hasn’t tried and very much the one that could have saved his arse for me.
And here's my answer again: "I'm confident that Ross has the ability get SAFC promoted. But to say that a manager can take any given group of players and achieve drastically different results is too simplistic." I've stated, repeatedly, that I think it's a more complicated than boiling it down to the level of can he or can't he. Why is that so difficult to grasp? Or is it just that you feel the need to be able to say you've "won" an argument?
That's the only question that actually matters. Irrelevent anyway, there are people at the club today deciding his future. Hopefully they'll answer the question ....
Yeah, I've been saying it's a simple question Maybe they will. What I'm more interested in is why can't he? If they answer that question then maybe the club will move forward, either with him or without him.
Yeah, I agree with that. And there's all the stuff about his **** selections and weird line ups. I realise everyone is probably bored of this bullshit now but I'll just say that I don't think managers start losing games and doing weird things for no reason and that's what interests me (I realise that not everyone else is) and why I'm not in the 'out' camp.
I get that mate, and I go back to one of the worries for me all along. It doesn’t look like he’s ‘lost the players’, it looks like he doesn’t know what to tell them to do. That’s a major, major issue.
Playing O'Nien in 3 totally different positions, in 3 consecutive games, is ludicrous by any standards. No wonder they look permanently baffled and lost. It's only when they totally abandoned Ross's 'plan' yesterday, in the last 15 minutes, that we looked like scoring
It is definitely a major issue. But its also really strange. Usually it's the other way around isn't it?. Maybe they've lost him, if you see what I mean, or they can't do what he asks them to and so he's at a loss as to what to do.
Maybe. End result is the same. End result is it ain’t happening and it is critical that it starts to.
I take it that a strand of opinion reckons the players and manager have lost their mojo? (If they ever had one to lose) Some doubt they will ever find it, unless the ex manure manager maureen takes over?
Incidentally Ozturk had a minor hamstring strain from the Rotherham game which is why he didn't start.
Love it when things don’t go the obvious way (as like game of thrones ). Can’t wait for next series - another year to wait ?
Aye, what a bastard. I knew it was gonna end like that cos that Moseley character is based on a real person, just, as always, didn’t know how they were gonna make it so. Such a good show.
