Yeah very much a work in progress- a young inexperienced team and manager to boot; realistically we’re going to take a few hits this season. Yet to be successful at home and I don’t see that changing tomorrow.
well obviously i hope your last sentence is correct but i think you have already improved since the start of the season though how Barclay keeps getting selected is beyond me . Will be interesting to see how you look next season with the youngsters having had another year of experience .
Our away record to the big 6 teams has been pretty awful for the last few years now, need to turn it around today and keep our winning streak going
Were we not unbeaten against the other top 6 sides season before last?....or am I remembering that wrong.
you are remembering wrongly as we lost to ManC ,Chelsea,Spurs and drew against ManU & Arse apparently.
Unusually for me i'm really confident of victory today probably by a couple . So if any of you need a bit of extra dosh just stick a bundle on a Chelsea win by a couple.
Do you realise if you and carlthejackal had offspring it would have the most level headed view of football ever. Bumps - we're doomed. Carl - the titles ours . Mind you it would come as quite a shock to whichever suddenly found they were expecting
Back in the day, well a few seasons ago, it was are biggest bug bear, wed beat Chelsea away, arsenal at home and then get heat by Wrexham. We always approached the other big clubs with no fear really went at them and would come away with a result. We are by far to cautious now, give them to much respect
Kepa azpi zouma/rudiger chistensen Emerson/alonso jorginho Barkley kovacic willian giroud pedro in this ‘young and inexperienced team’ you have 3 players in mount Abraham and fikori and even Abraham has been playing football for 3 seasons straight in champ. Add in pulisic who is a 60m signing with many international caps and games in the CL. Wouldn’t call this side inexperienced at all
