Where did I say insult them? All, I said was that if you post ill informed nonsense and present it as fact, I’ll point that out.
I often said that I was embarrassed with a lot of Remainer comments. Both sides were as bad as each other.
Doesn’t matter where he posted it. The point was that the politics thread didn’t somehow radicalise him. He’d already outed himself as a bigot.
I have been guilty on occasion, mainly when Pete was spamming with stories from the Fail or Express about offences committed by those of a darker persuasion, but generally if you’re civil to me I’ll be civil to you.
Re the Twitter comment, no. But matth’s Twitter account is the source of much “hilarity” on here. I think the pack salivating over every comment he makes is worse than the **** that was flung backwards and forwards on the politics thread.
The point was you broke into two clear defining sides. A person from one side, would never agree with someone from the opposite side, as it would go against the pack mentality that had been created.
I think in the current parliamentary debacle the decision to prorogue the Animal thread was the right call but I'm sure there will be a legal challenge in the courts.
and this was why things could never be fixed and a politics thread will now no longer be allowed on here. Because claim would be, why was it allowed to go on so long, which is the opposite to what @NSIS wanted earlier, an unmoderated board, hence the difference between here and the Spurs board. If there was ever a fall out, the claim would be, well it was allowed in the past, so it was irrepairable because the past always became ammunition of the present.
Again, make a reasoned point and I’ll debate it with you. A lot of what was posted was simply wrong. When that was pointed out the nonsense started.
