It was a poor game with barely any chances created by two poor teams - right up until we scored and then it was a very entertaining last 25 minutes. The excellent support deserved a result. Eaves is a fkn donkey though. Kingsley was better in the second half after a shocking first. Irvine didn't add much. Otherwise we were pretty okay. Thank god for Turbo. He drives you mad at times but he's always trying, always going forward. He was our only threat in the first half.
Play $hit win 3-0...Funny old game.....to coin a phrase. PS...The poster who, last week, compared Eaves to Danny Graham will shortly be hearing from Mr Graham's lawyer.
I’m not sure that 3rd goal should be an own goal. The defender that face planted the ball, managed to do so before the whole of the ball had crossed the line. Therefore the goal should be credited to Stewart.
Walked straight into our plan, fantastic by the manager and players, poor first half and they thought that we'd played to our best, yet fooled um, they actually thought we would get worse second half but not any of us, we mauled um, three goals, three points. Great plan UTT
If you are going to watch the highlights on Quest +1, you'll have a long wait, ours is the last Championship game.
A lack of any real emotion or a simple fist pump to acknowledge the decent travelling support from Stewart disturbed me and quite a few other loyal older types somewhat this afternoon. Allams OUT
lol I thought that at first as well. Definitely Stewart's goal the third, it didn't look like it was over the line before he put it in.
I must say Tiger TV was excellent, even though the commentary, which is Burnsey and Swanny, does wander off the game at times. However, thumbs up to Swanny who gave an act of human kindness to a Squaddie who was sleeping rough near where they stayed Friday night. He got talking to him and gave him a few quid to get something to eat. At 6.30am he got up to see if he was still there, he was, so he took him in for breakfast and let him shower in his room. Nice story and great credit to him, but it does beggar belief that ex-army personal end up on the streets in this day and age.
