Ipswich fans are rooting for double figures, they feel they have held the record for heavist defeat long enough. If Garcia were sttill in charge he would be sacked in the morning, so what now?

Should have waited a bit before sacking JG in hindsight!

The Cup Final defeat was palatable because of the occassion, experience etc. Today..... I have never been so ashamed of a Watford performance, we have made it so very easy for City, we have handed them this victory on a plate.

I pity your fans who went to the game. Club can count itself fortunate it didn't end up in the record books. It could've been 12-0.

City missed some golden chances and hit the woodwork four times. How can you be critical of an 8-0 win but we should on the day have lost by another 5 or 6.

THE ONLY POSITIVE IS THAT CHRIS WOODS DOES NOT KNOW:

    'No mugs in this league'
    Burnley 2-0 Norwich

    Burnley

Burnley striker Chris Wood: "It's satisying, these are the home games we need to be winning. Norwich played extremely well last week, took on a great side and beat them. There are no mugs in this league, they are all good sides.

"Goals is what you get judged on, hopefully there are more to come."

    WE ARE MUGS. BIG TIME.

Well we had 2 players who have hardly kicked a ball before in defence and 2 poor ones in Kiko and Dawson ...

No wonder we lost so badly .

I mean you forget West Ham and Brigton scored 3 against us .

Nothing up front to hold the ball up or pace to get in behind City .

    Midfield over run .

Without wishing to try and absolve us from a truly dreadful display, I did see some fantastic ball skills from some of the city players. I have no idea what we were trying to do, and would put some of our defending down to how we had been set up. It was dreadful watching basic defending get forgotten. Time and time again I noticed the ball come out to an unmarked player just outside the penalty area near the touchline, and by the time someone came across the ball was near the penalty spot. Dreadful to watch schoolboy errors.

I have made a mistake - I don't like to look at the table until after 10 games, when things start to pan out.

I had a glane - please I advise you not to, the goal difference is enough to chill you.

The psychological damage of this result will run further than the heavy scoreline. This could well affect us for the rest of the season - last week was a false dawn I feel. We could be in trouble - early days I know, but we need to stop conceding and I don't think we have the players to do that!!!

My thought exactly, but better put.

Aguero could have had 6 today.

    We are in big trouble.

We can't defend for ****e and now it doesn't look like we could outscore anyone.
