But we wouldn't need to change shape and system if we could score more from our chances created.

Leeds always disappoint us. I called it as soon as Klich missed the pen.
Absolutely gutted but the problem today was we ended up defending too deep and letting Derby dominate us near the end.
Calling for Bamford to be dropped is a knee jerk reaction. The team that started was 1-0 so Bielsa was right, the scoreline shows it.
We, as I write, are still top with the best goal difference by 2 so something must be ok.
I'm not saying people shouldn't question what's happening but I think he knows better than all of us.
There must be a reason why he doesn't start Costa and Eddie. I was actually surprised he brought Douglas on, that was negative, but he must have his reasons.
I just trust Bielsa, shoot me.

True and if we had we'd now have a 100% record and 24 points.

And 138 points at the end of the season.

Can't blame the defending. We should have been out of sight if the forwards did their job properly from what we created. Then there would have been absolutely no need to defend deep. When we missed the penalty everyone including Derby sensed what was going to happen.

I get your point, we can't win every game, but your flippant remark can't hide the fact that poor finishing not 'shape' cost us that win, or do you not see it that way?

Didn’t take it personal mate <ok>

We’re playing some great football this season, my slight fear is that last season we’d have held on and won 1-0 this season we are not holding on despite taking the lead

Now that I totally agree with.

It's impossible to know however how many points we would currently have if players were rotated as is popular in the PL.

Perhaps over the duration of a season it would work out better, or perhaps it wouldn't.

Of course after 8 games no professional player should need a break, but surely there must be a point where fatigue, either physical or mental becomes a factor.

Of course poor finishing was also a factor...just not the only one.

By posting what I see at the stadium I was just trying to give an insight that perhaps isn't so obvious on TV.

Being a glutton for punishment I had to watch the Sky highlights.

One ****ing shot they had, one ****ing shot!!!!

The penalty by Klich....**** me. When things are that close just bury the ****ing thing, don't try and be clever ****ING HIT IT PROPERLY!!!!

Bamford......words fail me. Yes he does everything else right but if you don't score enough goals in a game you ain't going to win. Fcuking start scoring. I don't want to be in this division for another bloody season.

So Nketiah is an unknown quantity but has scored goals so far and 10 minutes of the game today was a ****ing joke. Everybody can see that Bamford is not a natural goal scorer so at least try and shake it up a bit while we have plenty of time left of the season.

I just hope the results work in our favour again today because if we stay top at least it will take the edge of my very bad mood.

The Sky commentary team felt Harrison had a poor game, they said yes Leeds create chances but we could and should create more gilt edged ones and Harrison’s final ball was poor.

I can’t decide if it was the changes made by Derby or Harrison’s departure that was the catalyst for it to all change but as soon as he left the pitch we looked poor. Same with Pablo being subbed, he wasn’t having his best game but we looked worst when he left.

Do we need both Klich and Shackleton together? Surely Costa or Pablo at 10 would be the better option or even Cheeshes suggestion Bamford at 10

Is Costas limited game time leaving him over trying?

Well at least Swansea and Charlton dropped points so we are still top.

Takes the edge of it slightly and hope we bury Charlton next week.

Agree. It's the shape that is exciting to watch. It's the shape and style that creates chances. It's the shape and style that limits opponents. :emoticon-0148-yes:

It's the personnel that's letting us down. Its individual errors again. Just like last year. So... why don't we try different personnel. Put Eddie in for a few games and see if that's an improvement. Let's see if we can convert these chances in to 3 points. If it doesn't work, we'll still have what we have now but will have tried to improve things!

TBF we all know Bamford no Pukki or Abrahams and we suffered last season for it, but this season we may have a top striker, but if he sits on the bench for 75 mins every week, we're going no where.

I think Bielsa is brilliant but he can't be above a discussion between us. EVEN he has said converting chances is what is costing us, so maybe try something different?? And if it's not your system (make plan A work I believe is his mantra) change your personnel??

Well including play off, we have 1 win in last 7 home games, that's relegation home form.
