I hope David Prutton is right ... MILLWALL v QPR The score David Prutton has predicted for this game is: 1-2 He said on Sky Sports’ website: “It has been a solid enough start to the season for Millwall. Nine points from seven games and unbeaten at home so far. A bit of a concern for Neil Harris will be their lack of goals, they have scored just five so far and seem to be missing Lee Gregory up front. “QPR have started excellently and look a really young, exciting side. They may have shipped a few goals, only four sides in the league have conceded more, but they will score plenty as well. Away win.” https://fanbanter.co.uk/david-pruttons-efl-score-predictions-20th-september/
Any recommendations on a nice spot of lunch in the area? Was thinking I might get off at Bermondsey and walk rather than go through the London Bridge/South Bermondsey hullabaloo of grown men shouting “Miiiiiiillll” at each other and being treated like a criminal.
If anyone fancys meeting up for a beer near the ground, I will be wearing my Eze shirt and scarf. Come and say hello.
We’ll all be wearing fake Stone Island jumpers and have powder round our noses so you’ll know it’s the 606 crew.
A good match preview from Clive of LFW. Always worth a read: https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/news/50903/i-got-a-goddamn-plan-–-preview
Anyone who’s been watching QPR more than two weeks knows we’re not turning up today. Our away record when there’s more than 1500 or so attending must be appalling.
True. A touch of “managing expectations” during a very pleasant period of R’s football. Certainly much more enjoyable than Clives’s “blue” periods! But for me, always a great “must read” and a large part of my remote QPR experience. Wordy the articles certainly are, but he is a great journalist or more precisely “writer”.
Do you listen to the Open All Rs podcast? It's an hour each week, Clive is on quite a lot and sounded almost confused in the latest episode as he couldn't find much to moan about!
Thanks Dave Without doubt we should all be hopeful of points but I would take one point now still let the football do the talking re Millwall and the area it simply is no biggy imo can think of a lot worse places to go in London to watch football
