Blackburn serve up a shock by firing 4 past Arsenal to take abit of pressure of Steve Kean. Who saw that coming, even though Arsenal are an absolute mess and were so lucky to beat Swansea last week. Wenger is finished there.

Gabby Agbonlahor makes it 1-0 to Villa over Newcastle (get in)

qpr 2-0 up after 10 mins at Molineux

Forest lost to rivals Derby even after the rams had their keeper sent off in the 2nd minute. The wolly may be packing his brolly tonight

I have a feeling this is going to be a good and crazy weekend for football.

Steady on there Parker, its only 5 games in you know. If Arsenal were to sack ****er, then the likes of Steve Bruce wouldnt have a leg to stand on (have Arsenal got such a hapless home record in the last 9 months for instance).

Kean just bought himself some breathing space and I would love to see Steve Bruce do likewise in the next 3 games, come out fighting and tell the likes of me to piss off.

However, football being what it is today, Kean's stay of execution is merely delayed not postponed. Maybe Bruce's will be cancelled altogether after the next 3 games?

Blackburn have shown results can be achieved if you work hard enough and carry a little slice of luck of course.

Haha yeah Arsenal should stick with and see if they can make it to mid table backwards. Blackburn have got some tough fixtures coming up so be interesting to.see if they can take this result and turn it into a run. Swansea 2-0 up and look like winning which dumps us in the dreaded R zone, tomorrow just gets bigger by the minute. It is most definitely a MUST win game for Bruce.

No-one connected with the club be it Owner, Chairman, Manager, Players and us as fans can underestimate the importance of the Stoke game now. Another defeat will cause no end of turmoil within the fans I'm sure and once that starts to happen, its a slow death for the manager afterwards.

Bruce has got to throw this cautious approach out and adopt a positive attacking feel to the game. Ji and Bendtner will be a handful for anyone and Bruce has got to go for it. Hasn't he?

    2-0 to the lads.

All 3 promoted teams winning 2-0, Blackburn winning? Its all going Pete Tong!!!

Even the mags started to play well at Villa apparently.

If Bruce doesn't go with 2 up top tomorrow I think the dissenting voices may start early unfortunately. He surely knows this, you hope anyway.

This has me really worried that people are looking at other results already to see where we will be in the league at 5pm this evening? This just goes to show that a lot of people are fearing the worst already & that this is going to be another wasted/struggling season when we anticipated a better one than last season. I hope Bruce can turn things round on the pitch tomorrow & the team put on a great performance.

    Cracking game....

    Best players on the pitch

    1. Cabaye, looked class
    2 Given, some top saves
    3 Warnock...

    worst players, Bent and N'Zogbia.

Bruce was watching the Bolton v Norwich game, hope he took notes.

Watched Norwich a few times, not a bad little team really, can Bruce write?

It'll be only the crust left mate, bet Deliah Smith can rustle him up a nice big cow pie!
