Just had a pre-match email from the club, which included this gem: “St Mary's under the lights. A local rivalry. The chance to make it five games unbeaten going into the south coast derby .”
Block 39 for me tonight so if you see a tall lanky bloke losing his **** and screaming '****ING GET ON IT REF!!!' during any var stoppages then say hello.
Tbf to Jonny, I did go to the weekend fixtures and the current table, and if Saints win this evening there is a very good chance they will be in the Top 6 on Tuesday evening. Of course, the scenario will go something like... Bournemouth will score early and Saints will spend the entire match trying to equalise until the 87th minute, so 1-1. Saints thereby extracting the mediocre against every hope and expectation of better. We know Saints are entirely capable doing this. Even with Ralph in charge. Would love 2 or 3-0 though to get the GD into a proper positive.
Just an observation. I remember when I started going to matches at The Dell I think it took me about half a match to stop shouting at the referee. 1] because I'd crocked my voice already, and 2] the officials couldn't hear me anyway. So, by the next match my vocabulary aimed at the pitch was down to 1] Awwwwwwww, and 2] Yeeeeeaaaaahh...! And apart from chatting to people next to me that has how it stayed. I kind of admire people who shout because they are obviously optimistic that they'll make a difference.

Late one at work for me as my works 15 mins from St Mary’s. Getting pumped for tonight! Difficult one to predict, just hope we come through with no injuries or suspensions!
Ask her how long you have loved each other. Then ask her how long you’ve loved Saints. Then ask her to do the maths. Then get a lawyer Then have a long look in the mirror and ask yourself how the hell your wife didn’t know Saints we’re playing tonight. Then You can thank me later.
