    At face value he has got the club for £15m plus what he has to pay to get the assets of Bramall Lane and the hotel, not bad for what is now a Premier Lge club

    At a modest 3 % annual investment return, on that 18 billion, that's approx 1/2 billion asset growth per annum.
    With that annual wad, why the Blades I ask ?

    Mind boggling business this football. Whatever happened to gold or diamond mine exploitation ?

    edit: Not to mention oil field development.

    I recall when the owners of clubs used to be butchers, bakers and candlestick makers...Now a lot of them are Johnny foreigner with lots of 'dodgy' money from extremely 'iffy' sources.!!! Of course I'm not including this chap or the current owners of HCAFC in that statement.

    Eh..Nostalgia it ain't what it used to be.
