If I had building work scheduled for Wednesday day time, and my neighbour asked to me stop, AFTER 9am, because he was a lazy **** and wanted to sleep in, I'd tell him fine, as long as he recompensed me for the workers I have paid for, the materials I have purchased, the time I have booked off work, and a small stipend for the inconvenience of having to delay work on my home.

Otherwise he could go **** off.

My point was that if you and your neigbour got on , and he said it was his day off and could you please consider delaying it by an hour or so , you may consider it .

You may agree or say sorry , no , for the reasons you mentioned .

At least it would be civil IF you and your neighbour got along .

I wonder if Math even asked ?

One of My neighbours is a nurse who does nights, so I am sensitive to her needs generally. But when I had my extension done the builders started at 9. I informed them this would happen

People on the other side are joined, semi detached style, so I always let them know if I'm decorating ( usually late at night) and say if it gets loud just knock on the wall. It's just painting though not drilling etc

Same here . We are having an extension done , we live in a small close , bungalows . Ours is semi detached . We told everyone when the work would start etc . When it's all done We will invite the close neighbours round for a drink , and get our next door neighbours a gift .

    Does Matth work nights?

If not, 9am is reasonable time to get up on your day off.

Matth is saving himself for when his neighbours are fast asleep to have a tantric ****, he plans to throw himself at his bedroom walls whilst thinking about Ruud Van Nistelrooy's top ten goals for United.... innit mate?

Sounds like it could be a scene from American Pie.

I could actually imagine Metths super glue his knob to his Pogba teddy.

People are allowed to do building work mate, if 11am isn't the right time would you prefer 10pm?

Well just get on with it like everyone else does then.

To be honest starting at 11 is pretty ****ing reasonable imo, I'd be starting at half 8 if it was me.
