Depends which Masuaku and Ogbonna turn up, both have a tendancy to have absolute shockers, not just a bit bad but 'how the **** are you a professional footballer' bad. Sadly Diop & Fredericks aren't exempt from lapses of concentration at crucial times either, so we're always almost as vulnerable as Arsenal. Most Hammers would prefer Balbuena/Diop CB partnership, but MP kind of blames him for the City trouncing (blames himself for picking him after he came back late from the South American championships and didn't have a pre-season) Happy with the GK, midfield and attack named, but that doesn't mean they'll have a good game. Looking forwards to whe our attackers are used ot each others games, I think it'll be our best attack since Cottee & McAvennie. Fairly optimistic this season, though losing Antonio is a blow, especially as he seemed to have rediscovered his beast-mode. Could do with another CM and LB, I'd say RB too but, hopefully, Ben Johnson will make the step up soon. I think top 6 is an achievable goal for us, with an outside shot at 4th if we can play like we can consistently, but we'd have ot strengthen in Jan, and I doubt we will.
HIAG mate, take it to your bitch thread if you want to continue your sexual fantasies about me. Stop polluting the match day thread with this ****e, good lad
Good to see Villa back in the top flight again. Villa park is one of the most historic grounds in the country and it deserves to see football in the top tier again.
To think that the forum experts said we were mad to sell him. The same forum experts who said we'd miss Hazard.
Went there back in 94/95 to see us win 0-4. I was living up that way after I graduated. Amazing ground with a terrific atmosphere. It's definitely got some magic about it. You'll love it mate.
****ing Hell, Fabianski has just clothes lined El Ghazi Good to see him get up after that, looked like it could have knocked him out cold.
