Will do! Don't expect much, I sounded proper nervous last time to start off with. The Mrs is driving though so may require some dutch courage.

Nice OP, change the outlook of football completely and still do a pre-match report.

Hope for a good game today <ok>

PC, you mis-lead me! You wrote "On the Thursday prior to this ballgame, CanariesSoccer will be live on Norfolk104FM for The Scrimmage Soccer Show", that was the show prior to this match. I'm very dissapointed in you. ;)

I wonder if Mr Lemon uses these pages?

Anyway, down to the match, I've got a feeling for a 'tie-game'. If that's the case, a point away from home would do me fine.

Haha I see what you mean, I meant Thursday prior to the Utd match!

    Anyway, any team news?

    Didn't quite pick this,
Ruddy, RMartin, BJohnson, Morison, Pilkington, Hoolahan, Fox, Bennett, Barnett, Tierney, Naughton.
Subs: Rudd, Crofts, Vaughan, Holt, Surman, CMartin, De Laet.

    I'm guessing they'll line up

    Ruddy

    Naughton Martin Barnett Tierney
    Pilkington Johnson Fox Bennett
    Hoolahan
    Morison

I'm more suprised at De Laet being dropped than Holt. I'd left Holt out in my team in the prediction league, but prefering Martin at CB is a bit strange even with De Laet's mistakes

Tell you what mate, given the way Utd have started, better to be on before that game than after it! :emoticon-0107-sweat
I'm sure you'll do great, we'll all be listening <ok> (no pressure) ;)

Rusty Martin looked, well Rusty from what I've seen of him so far this season! I could be wrong but I can't think of how to justify playing a right back against the likes of Kevin Davies... as for the formation Dazz, it will either be a 4-4-1-1 as you say a 4-2-3-1.

Dazz, I think you're probably spot on. I'm surprised at De Laet too, I thought that aside from the obvious, he's played well. I guess Lambert feels a change is needed to sharpen everyone up and make sure they all know nobody's a certain starter.

Given R Martin has only played one game, best not to jump to conclusions. Think that's a bit harsh on him. Bit surprised R Martin is playing centre back, but we know he can play there. May be to say to de laet that his place in the team isnt secured and he needs to cut out his mistakes to stay in the team. Been thinking about us using a 4-2-3-1, Fox and Johnson can give the defence some support. Hopefully Morison will do better up front on his own than he did for Wales.

Good point about not jumping to conclusions wonky. The first game of last season I was horrified about our RB. Thought he was totally out of his depth, and wasn't worth a place at all.
Bloody glad to be preoved well and truly wrong. Could happen again this year.
Don't think Mr Lambert is the kind of manager to pick someone just for the hell of it.

Wasn't at the Wigan game so can't comment about that. Given his form last season I'm sure it was just a one off.

Bugger. Just seen the Blackburn score. Could have done without that really.

Anyone know why their keeper got a yellow card?
