This was 100% to be expected. If all you want to do is take money out of the club and so have to make do with any players that are willing to sign up to that, you'll end up with poor players. That's where we are. We're a team with two good players in it. Don't blame the manager for his inability to polish a turd.
Confidence is shot The one through on goal where all he’d to do was hold his man off and hit it He couldn’t do it Not making excuses for him But the ground had no atmosphere and maybe if the fans started singing his name giving him a lift it might help
That’s rubbish Stewart top championship player Lichaj De Wijs Elder good signing Irvine Taff Burke Batty Honeyman This is the manager Nothing else That team came out and did nothing second half until the 86th minute He needs to change formation not make the same subs if it isn’t working.
Might also help if there were a few more fans on the terraces and less criticising him, his manager and his team mates on social media. Hearing Luton away is a sell out ? Is it ?
How can you comment on the lack of quality when you don’t see or know them. This is a manager finding out about the championship
Chazz, when you live away you rely on the TV radio and highlights plus what we read on here from people who attend the game. Do you think that the pressing game is tiring the players out or is it the tactics and the seeming lack of a plan B which is doing us. I agree with you that there are good players in this team but the table does not lie. We are not producing the goods.
Well I was a great admirer of Campbell in both his spells at the club. He was a fine link man as well as knowing where the goal was and always thinking a couple of seconds faster than other players. A real bad miss for us no doubt.
Personally I don’t like three central midfield and two wingers high up and a centre forward. Saying that you have the best players then systems are immaterial to a certain extent. Once the wingers have made a token attempt the midfield three are shuffling across to wide areas getting stretched and pulled about. The full backs don’t have good cover and it also leaves the centre backs exposed Their second goal must have been twenty or more passes without us anywhere near a challenge Exposed our system that goal. But it was coming for all the second half. Said it before play growshitski alongside a centre forward and drop Bowen to right mid He can still get forward and score goals. Then Stewart can screen the centre backs Irvine can snap in front/alongside him And honey man or whoever can tie up the left side midfield. Sound like a plan?
Sounds like a plan to me. Do your players have to run and fight for 95 minutes or can they express themselves and enjoy their football ?
I'm sure the club would have loved to have kept Campbell here for another couple of years but on £20k plus a week ? Simply not feasible on the gates we are getting.
So it's the fans fault again, that sounds familiar. He's a grown man paid to do a job, a well paid job and with that comes some conditions (can't think of a more appropriate word right now) That's the way it is.
I've never understood how criticising one of our players helps his game ? Perhaps you can enlighten us to how that works ? Call **** out of them and they suddenly start scoring ? Is that it ?
No-one has ever been relegated in September to my knowledge. Let's hope we are so it proves you right eh ?
