    Pretty sure Pardew said "no point in taking him down to Brum and take 2 days out of his fitness training for a 10 min cameo" - so I'd be shocked if he was on the bench.

    Great player. We were linked with him last season, I was over the moon about that. Shame nothing came of it though.

    He's undoubtedly the second best Canadian footballer ever (David Edgar being the best).

    I rate him, he was MOTM when Blackburn beat us last season 2-1 at St.James Park.. Simpson simply couldn't handel his pace, dribbling and agility!

    If Rovers go down then we should definitely try and snap him up or even in Jan if Rovers are still 20th! <ok>
