Just delete the thread bit by bit. I'm sure the server could handle 500 pages a week being deleted. Or does it not work like that

It really needs deleting. That ****ing place was probably the start of the downfall... I rarely go on it but I can imagine how tragic it is! Anyone that ends up discussing politics 7 days a week on a football forum needs a cap in the ****ing head if we're honest.
Yep. The rivalries that have been created on that thread spill onto the rest of the forum, anyway. Delete the thread and restrict politics talk to club boards where the discussion tends to be a lot more friendly and respectful of each others opinions
Its pretty sad but good for a laugh during the internationals n such. Should have been called the Winners & Losers thread though.

It was banned on the Watford board for a bit but all started on another thread. People feel passionately about it so it always gets heated.
The problem with the thread is that they are all giving their opinion on Brexit and stating them as facts. Unless any of them are senior civil servants that are involved in the negotiations or work for the Government in Corporate Finance (that pays for the changes) then they know **** all about what is going on.
Your second paragraph is very true. I'm mid ranking civil service and work in an EU exit team. I don't actually know that much more than any of the rest of you - if I did know I'd disable my account for fear of blurting something out
That’s not entirely true. There are a lot of facts available about Brexit. Some posters use them to back up their arguments. Others rant about intangible factors seemingly pulled out of a hat to dispute them.
I remember that. I was made temporary mod whilst Hash (and another Liverpool mod who's name escapes me) were "suspended". When you reinstated them Bozz resigned as mod so I kept my tools #lifestory
I will have a say on this and this is not aimed at you Saf in any way whatsoever, it's just an appropriate thread in light of what I'm going to say and at the same time, by you mentioning the politics thread, it allows me to answer a few user comments I've read on the board today ie not just within this thread. If people want to just talk football, they can return back to their boards but I note that most boards also have a politics thread, it's just probably more hostile on here, so at times an X rated version of the board versions. But to my real point, here is a thread that I've already given my view on and my stereotypical thoughts of Thailand, but this is acceptable like many others - but I'm getting to my point............I've also seen pictures put up of women that certain posters shagged the night before, yet I never heard a fooking peep out of anyone, personally I can't think anything more out of order and belittling of a woman, but what do i know I'm just the stooopid admin on here. I repeat, not aimed at you Saf, but for others that are moaning if the cap fits, well fooking wear it.
