Not only a former inmate but also went from 85 to 88 . We were in the same year !! I'm fairly confident that we must know each other then . I did tech drawing as opposed to navigation so was in Stutty's and old man Baxters classes for my last two years .
I'm sorry, I don't understand your reply - I 'll have to ask Glesgabhoy67 to translate seeing that he works in such an establishment - then tigersteve can write it in correct english.
I've recently finished uni and I'm on JSA. I'm looking for a media/journalism/communications related job and it's almost impossible as that industry is almost non existant in east yorkshire. I applied to Press Association and Hull Daily Mail and I was told I would have got in there if only I had the NCTJ certificate. The job centre are useless though.
Since you still haven't elaborated which "global" organisation you work for or what experience you have please refrain from commenting on my occupation. ****in knob
alwaysright, originallambretta, eastyorkshire, kempton and nfu..and anyone else on their moral high horse who took offence to my joke..**** up. why is it okay to make jokes about something months down the line but not straight away. ****ing bells.
It's never too soon. Well, it would have been too soon if the joke was made before they were declared dead. But it wasn't. So it isn't.
You are scum for that "joke" and if you don't realise why it's not ok to make that joke you are a moron as well.
Ok - from my moral high ground -it wont stop me to express my sympathy to you should you/your family suffer a catastrophe - or would you rather me be a prick about it ?
Thank you Gambol. Your comments on the subject were noted by me. I don't agree - but rather than risk making a complete c*** of yourself by being insensitive to the families involved ( I do believe that jordan has temporarily strayed into that territory), please restrict yourself to the dry humourous posts you produce ( compliment).
I joined from Hornsea School & travelled in by bus.. I chose navigation.. I can't remember the class teacher's name.. I've got the 200th year book somewhere.. because of the teacher who did knots I got the nickname "Horrace" which stuck.. later understood that it came from Horatio Nelson, which would have been OK but when you're at school you don't see it like that.. left before A-levels as I wanted to join the RN as a navigation officer but they said I could only become Supply officer on the land so I lost interest and went to Hornsea 6th form college.. Do you remember Beadman? he was the class joker..
