Thought both full backs were poor for the first 15 minutes, things seem to have improved since then probably due to our domination of possession. Until Origi and Mane swapped positions we looked disjointed up front, since Bobby has come on we are more our normal selves. Newcastle could still catch us on the break with a one off goal like their fisrt so we need another goal for a bit of a cushion.
I think they've changed the use of VAR. Decisions that are down to opinion (was he holding or not) are no longer reviewed, only black or white decisions (which side of the offside line was he) are looked at. I could be wrong though
thing is you know that very soon a drective will be issued to lower the threshold so the same incident will be ruled as a pen by VAR. The only good thing about VAR is that i feel vindicated in my dislike of the whole idea
