I’ll try that, but till now I’ve only been able to record the highlights package on the red button not the whole game.
According to Bielsa and I will listen to his opinion first. Bamford is being doubled up on which leaves space for others to capitalise on. Opposition managers see Bamford as a major threat because he drags defenders wide leaving holes and can actually create chances with flicks and even crosses from out wide. Think he's getting a bad press. The last match saw Eddie miss a bunch of chances but if those were Bamfords he would have got stick from some. This seasons stats clearly show the most creative player regarding chances created is Klich. Its early days folks and we still have no idea about our best team because Eddie, Costa have not had a start, Forshaw and Klich doing great, White fantastic, Clarke doing great and Kiko starting to shine. Pablo is a gem and Bielsa will be forced into giving him a new role or reduced role or letting him do his own thing (as long as the team follow and plug) you cannot have Costa as a bench player and Eddie is a precocious talent who is bound to get a run at some stage
Actually, thinking about it, on my sky the red button game doesn’t become an option until the match is about to start. Then is shown live, no replays etc.
I think Bamford is a decent player but not clinical enough, needs too many chances to convert. Earlier in the week WJ made a great point about teams being over defensive against us that may affect his getting shots on target and so goals. That is probably right but for me then your forward needs to be an even better finisher if chances are at a premium. Also take your point about Eddie but he is just getting integrated into our team play. We know from last season what to expect from Bamford and we’re getting the same (or worse if you take Bielsa’s comments at the press conference).
Same but I went to TV guide to tomorrow's game showing at the same time, Weds vs Hudds, pressed 'R' for record and it came up with the option of recording that game or Barnsley vs Leeds.

It only took two years for someone to be humble enough to ask for help Emu...they are a stubborn and disbelieving bunch on here. Next time your Sky contract is up try and negotiate a free upgrade to a Q Box. Best way is to tell them your old box sticks when you're playing back recordings and is therefore useless as you never have time to watch anything live. You'll be offered one for around £200 but dig your heels in and say it's beyond your budget and you can't see any other way but to leave. You might be put through to the tech team to reset the old box but just keep saying the problem still exists. Worked fine for me but it depends if you like the challenge, I can't pretend it was the easiest of negotiations.
They tried with me but I but too much money as I needed four boxes as the kids wanted one each for their bedrooms.
Ultimately that was how I got my free Q Box. .. Had to order a multi room package, then when the engineer came told him I'd cancelled the multi room and to just fit the Q Box only. Wasn't a happy bunny but knew of the ruse and so complied. He still had to leave the multi room equipment and I had to return it to Sky myself (they sent pre paid packaging), then my package was downgraded back to the original cost and I kept my Q Box. All of this was done with the agreement of a nice chap in sales who processed all the paperwork and made sure everything was billed correctly.
I tried to set up the red button the other day, but it was 2 other games that showed up instead of the Leeds match! Tried a few times & kept getting the same result, so gave up. After I read today's discussion, I tried it again & it worked! Did exactly the same as last time, before anyone asks, otherwise I wouldn't have consistently got the other games. Even Mrs WJ remarked that it had worked this time. I wonder if this seemingly random Skybox error is the reason for so much uncertainty for this match? I'm a happy bunny now - I'd resigned myself to a stream. Must give Leeds60 a call!
Hate dealing with Sky, where the dish is not one of their engineers will go up (too near the conservatory) always have to send a subbie. Hope the recording works because unfortunately spending most of the day at hospitals and care homes visiting elderly and ill parent & parents in-law.
Never had a problem personally but of course there is always a first time. Just double check you've got enough memory available, hopefully you can enjoy watching the game later after doing the family stuff which I imagine is quite difficult all round. Q Box does need different cabling so they would need to get to your dish, maybe just stick with what you have as you obviously have enough going on without adding further complications.
