You said there have been no good films made since the year 2000. You then posted a list of your favourite films that had at least TWO post 2000 films on it.

You also said you liked the film Memento

You then said ALL Christopher Nolan's films were shìte.

I doubt if you've ever be correct about anything to be honest.

Come to think of it, maybe that's why you enjoyed Memento so much. You're memory seems to totally fùcked.

Don Winslow’s The Force is supposedly coming soon. Directed by James Mangold.

The book is brilliant, just hope the movie is as good.

It has an 8.4 on imdb, and Prometheus a 6.9, they've ruined my trust in imdb ratings tbh as the first is boring and the second is the most intellectually insulting film of all time.

Memento is a good film. Not amazing but a good film. Why is a fantasy sci fi film about aliens intellectually insulting?

memento is a ****, pretentious film. I sat down and watched it with 5 other people, I'm the only one that made it to the end and that was just pure determination, because I thought it was **** too.
As to Prometheus, yeah, it's sci fi, but nowhere at the beginning did it say that in the future everyone will have their brains removed. The whole premise is ****ing ridiculous and no charcter has any motivation other than reaching the next plot point. I hoped they would all be dead within 5 minutes.
Let's not take any form of useful weapon, just this flamethrower because it was in the first movie. Let's not use the ground scanner, which can completely map the underground space ship in 30 seconds towards the end of the film to show how big it is, to find our 2 scientists lost in the labyrinth, nah, let them wander around so they get killed and move the plot forward. I call them scientists, when really 'anti-science plot movers' would be a better desciption. Nothing they do follows any kind of scientific logic or protocol, in fact they pretty much do the exact opposite of what any competent scientists would do, whilst allegedly being the best of the best.
It would've been a much more enjoyable film if, 5 minutes after they took their helmets off (which of course, all brilliant scientists would do), they'd all dropped dead.

it's 5 years since I saw it, the emotions are still raw. I'd watch the sequel but I don't think they make anti-psychotics strong enough to cope with the fall-out. it's be like this
