As far as I'm aware you can watch this match on the EFL ifollow by registering with the home club and paying £10 if you're a UK viewer or $7 if overseas (VPN). Sky still stating on the red button as of today. If not I'll be using LUTV with a VPN, £5 for international streaming. Update... having just checked with LUTV, anyone can watch in the UK on LUTV for £10
Just read the Bielsa press conference on JA, he seems to suggesting our goals from chances made is still a problem and getting worse? "last year we need 4 or 5 chances to score a goal, this year we need 6". Time to give Eddie or Costa a run or maybe both?
Aha! You're assuming it's the quality of the conversion that's the issue. What if he's saying that it's the quality of the chances created? Could be either or both. The thing that springs to mind for me though, rightly or wrongly, is the quality of Pablo's crossing & finishing in most of our games, closely followed by quite a range of players (including Pablo) taking that extra touch too many in scoring positions. Indeed, I suspect that Pablo being dropped to the bench is a serious consideration for Bielsa.
To be honest WJ I think Bielsa's major concern will be the fitness levels of those that have been away on international duty. So; Cooper Alioski Dallas Klich Nketiah Those are the potential first team starters who've been away and will need to demonstrate they are fit and well going into Sunday's game. Not expecting any changes though as our 100% away record speaks for itself.
I can confirm that the match is available to record on the red button, hopefully this means it is indeed being televised by Sky.
Got a funny feeling this game, or next game is Bamfords last chance. It's ok saying our ratio of chances v goals is way off, but he keeps picking Bamford, and Harrison doesn't help trying to dribble round every player and himself. If Bamford plays/starts 2-0, if Nikita plays/starts 4-0 or 4-1, costa to come on in second half to boost attack.
Available to record? Ok, in the scenario that I can't watch it live, how do I record it on the red button. I wasn't even aware that could be done?
I think Costa will get the nod and Fast Eddie will be on the bench again. I could be well wrong though as none of us can second guess Bielsa.
Yeah, I'm not Bamfords biggest fan. I don't think he is the one to fire us to the Premier league but he is playing his best stuff for us at the moment. My knee jerk reaction after Swansea was to drop him and put in Eddie. Might be an over reaction. I'm also surprised at the continued calls for Pablo to be dropped on here. He is still head and shoulders above anybody else we have on the books. It would be a big mistake imo.
Not sure if you can do it on all Sky boxes but you definitely can on a Sky Q box. Go to the game being shown on the program planner at the time of our match, this week that is Hudd v Sheff Wed on Sky Sports F'ball Channel. Then press 'R' and the match choice will come up...choose between Barnsley v Leeds or Hudd v Wed for which game you wish to record.
He's missing more than he's scoring, and he's not exactly scaring defences to death. It's ok saying Bamford is playing well, which he ain't imo, we need a striker who's going to put the fear of death into opposition defences; Bamford doesn't do that and other teams know it. He should've, by rights, had 2 goals against Swansea, he doesn't know where goal is unless it's tap ins. Bamford is easily marked out game. If we want promotion, we got to have the players who'll achieve it. There's no room for sentiment or emotional attachment if we want promotion. Just to add, Yes he has 4 goals, but how many were crumbs. Granted right place at right time but he's got to be more vicious and more accurate, a nearly striker ain't going to cut it for promotion, put's too much added pressure on AM's.
We've had this conversation on here before Jammy and I don't know if you have a different Sky package than me but I've got a Sky Q box and as far as red button matches are concerned I can't record, pause, rewind or do anything but watch it live.
I’m not calling for Pablo to be dropped. I’d like Costa to start with Pablo moving central to replace Forshaw. Costa brings real pace. Tough call as he is scoring but I’d also have Eddie in ahead of Bamford.
No pause or rewind unless watching the recording, which is why I do it and then watch about 1 min behind live. Have you tried the method I described earlier ? If so what happens when you press 'R' with your program planner on the highlighted Hudd v Wed match ?
