If you're ever up the arse end of Blackburn try the Balti house in Rishden.

Nice one Hussain. <ok>

I’m too scared to go to curry houses now. After my stomach issues I thought I could get away with a korma or a tikka masala. Last one I had went straight through me. Bearing in mind it was also a curry that put me in hospital in February. Thought I would try making one then at least I know the ingredients are decent and not cooked in a filthy kitchen.

These kitchens are not filthy, these guys are professionals regulated by their local councils, so cut that **** out mate.

Bollocks. Loads of the curry houses round here have bad hygiene ratings from the council. As do the Chinese takeaways too.
Well, it's in the window of every shop mate, buyer beware, i had 5 stars in mine and the inspectors are a fecking pain in the arse.

Dinner was goood.

Only thing I ****ed up was the bloody naan. Tried making cheese naan, in the absence of paneer cheese used feta and a bit of cheddar. Forgot to take them out the oven when I ate the satay starter by the time I realised they were a tad ****ed. Crispy chicken skin turned out like pork scratchings too. Brilliant they were.

Waste of time that **** mate, poncey salt sprinkler. A lug of oil FFS <laugh>
He's gone on to long but his early shows were great. It's not for people who are really into authentic recipes but if you're stuck for something to cook he has great ideas and his food is simple to cook. Most people start out making food from books and go from there.

Possibly, prolific book writer. Would make a decent sous chef but he is an insufferable prick.

He's a bit annoying now but the early shows were great. My favourite was Jamie's Italy, he spent the whole show trying to put his twist on Italian classics while travelling around Italy and they were having none of it. It was good TV in that he showed them turning down everything he suggested other than editing it out some of the faces pulled when he did something or added something to a dish where they disagreed were brilliant and you could tell that at the big feast he put on at the end they were all unimpressed. @brb
