The music industry has always been like that - to quote a line from the Clash (White Man at the Hammersmith Palais) the bizness is in the business of "Turning rebellion into money". The commercial exploitation of talent frequently leads to that talent being stifled, but there's always new talent coming along. Having to dig about a bit to find the original talent is part of the fun. And it's why, no matter how many artists sell out, rock n roll will always be a subvervise force.

He overdid the pervy sex addict act a bit, but what a great Performer, Singer, Multi-Instumentalist, Songwriter and Producer and when he got it right he was touched with a tiny bit of genius. That is my favourite album of his as well mate..
