Wasn't Fab once photographed parading around in a Barca shirt? I'm talking about before he joined them, when he was supposed to be the captain of your team.

Look, I don't believe everything I read in the tabloids, but neither do I subscribe to this feverish view that everything they write is completely false. Footballers tend not to be the brightest blokes on the planet, and I am prepared to believe that they can be mislead into saying more than they want to, and then use Twitter to try to explain what they "really" meant.

Surely, it would be better if Fab said nothing about Arsenal, that way nothing he says could be taken out of context?

There are certainly precedents for great players returning to clubs that they turned their backs on, though not many. Perhaps that could be the topic of another thread?

You say this, but then use the example where Spain colleagues PUT a Barca shirt on him, and he looked pretty uncomfortable

 

When I was only an observer of this site, I noticed he was wumming the Liverpool board a lot, he has now been banned from the LFC board as people can see through his rubbish and the exact approach he uses is very true, like you mentioned.

 

Having been on the old BBC board as many of us have, I've seen WUMing of the nth degree. However I must say once again that I have not seen any from Mr H. Certainly not on the Arsenal forum. Since not606 exists for all to participate, I just wish everyone would do so in the spirit with which and for which this board was created. It's Saturday and I was thinking it would be nice to get back to the business of talking football.
