It's a new day and a new dollar. We have a very important game tomorrow against a decent Stoke City team that will be bristling with confidence after a good start to the season, a good first week in Europe and a couple of good buys in the transfer window. They will be looking to exploit our tentative start and poor home form this year and for 3 points into the bargain.

I hope Steve throws off the shackles and goes for the game from the off. Play an attacking formation with a couple of strikers (Ji deserves his chance imo after his goal) and take the game to them.

I'm in joyous mood this morning, so I'm putting my best positive head on and taking a bold stance. There does seen to be a collective front at the club and comments from Quinn suggests the manager isn't about to be moved on, so we have to go with him now.

2-0 to the lads and with o shea and brown magnificent again. I'd stick with MIG and try and build his confidence but I would change the midfield.

    Mig

    O Shea, brown, Titus, bardo

    Larsson, sessegnon, vaughan, Richardson

    Won, Bendtner

Subs: westwood, turner, elmo, catts, colback, wickham. Gardener.

A very tough game Cest but, as ever I think we'll win up here and get beat at Stoke it's the way of the world. Team looks okay but, with Bardo banned it looks like your favourite and mine Richardson at LB again and Catts in the middle.
Going for a tight 2-1 to us just hope we get our 2 first and the lads settle for Stoke to get a late consolation goal. I'd play Ji as well although according to reports/rumours it'll be Whickham starting along side Bendtner.

I quite like the look of tha midfield, might be a bit small though compared to the giants at Stoke, then again get the ball on the floor and play our game not theirs.

Richardson surely has to be given a chance at LW we did not buy a left winger so it's got to be time to play the only one at the club in that position?

Swap O Shea to lb and stick Elmo (god help me) rb. I'd put Sess on the right and Vaughan with Colbeck in the centre. Richardson lw and CWick with Bendy up top.

We need to go after them and more importantly, keep the ball on the deck!

CEST - agreeeeeee with the positive vibes, good time to catch them after they conceded a last minute equaliser. There is on only one small thing I wish you hadn't done there and say it's "Match Day 5". These things annoy the hell out of normally placid me, it's like the "round of 16", WTF is that. Bloody americanisms like "assist" and scores like "one - zero" ARGHHHHH

I thought Bardos ban came in next game? Bugger. I wouldnt play Elmo (anywhere actually) but certainly not defender. Brown can be moved right (played there for club and country) and O Shea to left back. Turner comes back in (he does have 90 mins under his belt) alongside Bramble to add some height to the defence.

Richardson will never make a left back lads. I thought even those once convinced he might have given up on that and left wing is THE only place he could be used IMO. This team is there not to compete physically but rather to out pass and move them. There is more pace in my team and that will be useful.

    Mig

    Brown, Turner, Bramble, O Shea

    Larsson, Sess, Vaughan, Richardson

    Ji, Bendtner
