Completely agree, in a similar position as I'm between jobs. For a Tory he's alright! Red Robin obviously hates him, he doesn't know why, he just knows that he's supposed to hate him and that's why he hates him. But I think he's actually quite a funny and decent bloke.

The words used by the Scottish court was very strong. Remember, this court case is based on what was Boris's intentions to suspend parliament. What proof did they have to make this decision? These are the words used by the Scottish judges...

"Trying to stifle Parliament and mislead the Queen." They are basically suggesting Boris was just trying to get around parliamentary scrutiny.

To make a decision with language like that, based on opinions and not fact/proof, I would be more worried about the justice and legal system in Scotland than I am in the decision to come at the supreme court.

The burden of proof is needed and it will be very hard to prove what Boris's intentions are. If they have proof then fair enough. Please share it? What is it? Where is it? As this will be important because IF Boris did mislead the Queen then maybe he should step down as PM. Just what the country needs, another PM.

I personally don't like him. I think he is rude and arrogant. What he said to Andrea Leadsom, which he denied, but I believe Leadsom over Bercow here, based on the clashes I have seen, and I do see a lot of the parliament channel, they don't get along at all. I very rarely believe what is in the papers as they have their own agenda's.

He can be funny sometimes and this is an example...

An utterly disgraceful judgment from the Edinburgh Court of Session, with three out of touch Scottish judges making a blatantly political decision. This sets a highly dangerous precedent, and is yet another example of the judiciary trying to stymie the will of the people.

I don't mean to be rude here but looking at those 3 judges pics, the one on the right looks normal but the one on the left has more than enough chins and cheeks to help out the one in the middle! <laugh>

Does anyone here agree with Corbyn and Emily Thornberry's idea? Which is, if they win the GE, they will get a good deal with the EU and then put it back to the people in another referendum and they will campaign against their own deal. So they have openly admitted publicly, so even the EU knows, they will campaign against the work they will do with the EU?

    Good idea anyone?

Nigel Farage has his say on today's Scottish court decision to declare Boris' prorogation of Parliament "unlawful":

"Astonishing judgment! How can it be unlawful for a government to want to present a Queen's Speech? Given this has been one of the longest-running governments for centuries in this country. It smells to me of judicial interference..."

Almost as bad as those who want to take no deal - our only negotiation advantage - off the table meaning only get a deal - no matter the cost! That's mainly Labour too! <laugh><doh>

Turns out British law is sovereign after all eh gents.

Also I'd love to know how you think no deal being on the table gives us an advantage. Outstanding logic here I think.

Red Robin - you seem to be making a great habit of writing out nice sentences as if they are your own, when they're quite clearly copied from somebody else <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>
