Afternoon all, daughter dropped off at airport and life can return to normal.

Anything much happened this week? Nothing to get too excited about unless you see H's dinner menu.

How is the travel problem working out Norway?

Frenchie I dont know how Mrs N is getting on ,have put money in her account , to cover kennel fees , airfare ,hire car etc!
I`m still in Bergen on day 5 our aircraft turns up at 4pm ,done 12:30 hrs today will prob do same saturday !,sunday! helps pay the bills!

Big night ahead. Chateauxroux are at home to Nantes. A win would establish them in the top half of the table, but like WFC you are never quite sure what will happen. Nantes have a familiar name in their side: Sylvain Wiltord. How the mighty fall.

 

Blimey - The Nest is dead for a Friday night...what is the world coming to? I sense a change in the world order?

Antipasti and Pasta consumed - a couple of bottles of Prosecco to start and then a nice Barolo to finish the Italian style evening, time for some tunes...over to the dancing thread as it is dead in here. Perhaps it needs to get back to it's original theme?

 

H - A good BM is an art, got to be spicy with Celery Salt....best one I ever have has was in Club Class on BA flying to Vancouver. There was this rather camp Steward who recommended a Dry Sherry poured into the BM...a couple of them and I was steaming and got stuck into the wine, they had to pour me off the plane 10 hours later!

 

Having spent a traumatic week playing host to a Steptoe it is taking me some time to gather my thoughts.

 

OFH - Did he offer you a Dot-to-Dot book and a pack of crayons in exchange for some rags? I hope you checked the family silver before he left?

Just finished tidying up after dinner with friends. Mrs Sandy made a lovely home made chicken liver pâté, followed by home made curry and then home made lemon cheesecake. All went down very well and tasted super!!!

My contributing as always is to tidy up any mess made my Mrs Sandy before and during such parties. After 3 bottles of red wine you do not care what time it is when cleaning up.

Better than clearing up with a hangover!!!
