So John Mann has seen the light, left the Labour Party, and gone to work at No.10 Always thought he was a decent guy. Leeds born as well.
No surprise the Lib Dums vetoed an election, last thing they want is the people getting involved in democracy. ****ing NAZI like act that, the sort of manipulation of democracy Hitler used to form a government.
Looks like the Tories aren't the only ones to lose members, Lib Dems lost 3, Labour lost one, so far. At least 21 of the Tories were deselected cos of their backstabbing treachery.....serves'em right if you ask me. Hammond got his just deserts after he and a few other Tory rebels went behind Boris's back and paid a visit to Brussels to get a guarantee of an extension, which it seems they may not have got. Michel Barnier has recently stated UK are heading for a no deal exit.........so much for Corbyn's Parliament vote to stop no deal.
Trade boosted since Boris become PM? https://www.express.co.uk/news/poli...rade-deals-boris-johnson-liz-truss-free-ports
The Government are far too clever for these remoaners. Always one step ahead. It's great how these remoaner twats get their hopes up, thinking they've got Johnson in a corner well BoJo's holding all the aces, and he hasn't had to play one yet. Meanwhile, despite the remain stream media doing their utmost to paint a picture of doom and gloom, a country in turmoil heading for a 'crash-out' Brexit, BoJo is surging ahead in the polls. Remoaners RIP. A slow, painful death indeed
I watched this a couple of days ago, but something stuck in my head. Bercow said the Brexit bill doesn't need the Queens Assent therefore, if the Bill doesn't need, or gets the Queens Assent, then it doesn't become law. If the Bill isn't law, then Boris wouldn't be breaking any laws if he ignores the Bill, and goes against it. The Antichrists had votes against T May which never went for Queens Assent, so they weren't law either. However, has Bercow opened a door for Boris to take by mistake, was it deliberate, or was it just Bercow's ego playing God.
This link explains the reason the recent bill requires assent. https://blogs.lse.ac.uk/brexit/2019...ce-a-significant-dilemma-over-queens-consent/ "The proponents of a new Bill to prevent No Deal are caught on the horns of a dilemma. If they had drafted a Bill that only mandated the PM to seek an extension, the PM would be left free to refuse to agree or accept any extension in negotiations with the EU27. But the actual Bill tries to impose a requirement that the PM either agrees to 31 January 2020 or agrees any new exit date suggested by the EU27 (as long as a motion approving the alternative date in the House of Commons is passed). House of Commons procedural rules mean that the government is required formally to approve the Bill by affirming ‘Queen’s Consent’ to the Bill at the Third Reading stage. This is because the power to agree or accept an extension is normally exercised using a prerogative power. If passed, this statute would have the legal effect, by whatever means, of forcing the PM to agree an extension to the Article 50 process would manifestly ‘affect’ the prerogative for the purposes of the relevant test as to whether Queen’s Consent is required."
I agree the French will probably just say no, it is just getting ridiculous pandering to the British. I think that their biggest export to the UK is tourism and I suspect that will continue so not much to lose and Germany has a £1trillion global export market so losing £77 billion in the short term to the UK isn't that big a deal. It will have an impact but probably will return to similar levels, you lot seem to need your BMW's
In short, Bercow got it wrong, or maybe didn't untill it went to the house of Lords with numerous amendments.
There's also French wine, cheese and Champagne as well as other imports we buy from France. Tourism from any Country will continue as normal except they'll need their passports again. Trade will continue with continuation deals done between uk and EU Countries.........The scaremongering about losing trade etc is all bull. Germany relies heavily on Britain for many car parts and components, but also exports of cars to UK. 2017 saw just over 90 billion in exports to UK, that may well have gone up or down in 2019. 90 Billion in exports is a lot to lose for any country despite their Global trade amounts. Exporting 1.33 Tr and importing 1.08 Tr leaves an offset of around 250 billion. As I've previously mentioned, scaremongering isn't going to change anything in trade deals, it gets done under WTO regulations, which Germany also trade under as well.
They'll extend for a purpose like GE - and because they'd rather not have no deal if there's a chance of a deal but not for much longer as for them no deal is better than a bad deal. May finally ran out of time to kick the can down but Boris will run out of fantasy before reality kicks in
