I don't know much about the Hillsborough or the Sun's reporting of it but I understand that they did something to upset those involved and affected by Hillsborough. So, why would I slag off the Sun in an attempt to mock Hillsborough? If anything I would be praising the Sun if I was trying to mock Hillsborough. I would never mock any tragedy and I ridicule those who do. I think it's pathetic and disgusting that you should try and twist what I posted to make out that I was in some way mocking that tragedy. You could have said Daily Star, or many of the other ****e tabloids that get read. It wasn't as if the Sun was the only option. You could have even said 'typical idiots who don't read past the headline.' No need to bring the Sun into it at all. And you'd have avoided all this.

Well you didn't merely slag off the Sun. You called us Sun readers, when it's well known that no true Liverpool fan reads that paper. It's not even stocked in most newsagents in the area. Had you said 'the Sun is a **** newspaper' you'd have no complaints. The fact you suggested we read it is why you got the reaction you did. If you weren't aware of the Hillsborough link, it's an unfortunate choice of words.
