By the way, there's actually a Mancunian White who posts on our board. Think his username is Mancwhite, believe it or not.

This thread is clear evidence of that, right?

Whether or not what you say is true, I can certainly speak for myself and say that no, I don't care one iota for Leeds or their fans. I wonder why I'm even giving you the time of day to be quite honest. Tuesdays game is just another Carling cup match that will be contested by a team out to prove a point and the Man United reserves.

At least your reserves will get the experience of seeing an intimidating crowd - although I can't see that experience being much use in the Premier League.

<laugh> Liverpool haven't actually had that much success since we were last the league champions. The only thing of note really is the Champion's League win, and we weren't far off that not so long ago. The only difference between us and you is that we had a fall from grace, something that very nearly happened to you last season.

Of course, a few cup wins of cups that both have rapidly deteriorating significance...

He cares about Leeds so little that he feels a need to constantly remind everyone about it.

Bore off Munster, will you? Go play with your Cobblers friends or something.

I was thinking that a few minutes ago, cares so little about us that he's putting a large amount of time and effort into letting us know how little he cares about us.

I know I've said I don't care about them in this thread, I was trying to make a point though. I'll happily admit that I do. I hate the ****s. I'd happily spend the next 5 seasons in the Championship surviving capably if it meant I got to see those scum bastards fall hard and fast - lets face it, the league needs it. The league would open up and actually be interesting then.

All this talk of playing your reserves, is this the start of the excuses even before a ball is kicked?

Surely as the self proclaimed best team in the world you should have no trouble against a little unknown Championship side like Leeds United!

Such masters of psychology. Couldn't your own theories be used against yourselves, for that matter? Since seeing as none of you care about "that plastic team" you're all getting a little touchy, ain't ya?

But we do care about Man U. Any Leeds fan that doesn't is a phoney in my view. Several scum fans I've spoken to feel the same about post-2004 fans who think Man U's main grudge matches are with Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal. And 19, not to belittle your right to support a club from further afield, but I really wouldn't expect a Southerner/Midlander to care about a Yorkshire/Lancashire rivalry anyway. Of course it doesn't concern you unless you hate Leeds for other reasons.

I just thought it was odd the number of times "your reserves" have been mentioned! <ok>

Man United versus a team from the championship in the early stages of the Carling Cup. I don't think it's totally outrageous to think that Ferguson will field a reserve team, do you? Especially since that has been protocol in the Carling cup for us over recent years.

I do care. I think your team is a cancer on the english game that is eventually going to consume it and eliminate the competitive nature of the league set up. The pundits like to talk about the Premier League being "the best league in the world" but it's not. The quality of football may be the best, but the league itself is boring and predictable. At the top, anyway. You could argue the bottom is exciting, but I don't think "who's going to survive this season on the last weekend?" is really enough to cover up the fact that the top is boring and predictable.

For unpredictability and genuine excitement, the Championship is a significantly more entertaining league.

Anyway, we can all thank Sky and manchester united for ruining the top tier of english football. Here's a toast to them.
