So this is an early k.o. on Saturday week (14th), followed by a trip to Napoli on the Tuesday (17nth) and away to Chelsea the following Sunday.

Quite an intense week for us, I hope we can pick up where we left off before the FIB

Eh? He was inconsistent with us, he doesn't want to put the running in and has been poor at Juve. Why would we go back there?

 

Disagree. He was arguably our strongest CM, ahead of Gini, Hendo and Milner.

He hasn’t been poor at Juve. He’s performed wel and a lot of their fans are surprised as to why he’s being excluded.

 

I liked Can and thought he was a good utility player like Gini, Henderson and Milner. Only so many of that type we can have though

 

So which midfielder do you want dumping to make room for him ?

100% with you. Wasn't a fan whilst he was with us. We're should be aiming much higher than Emre Can!

 

Easily takes Hendo’s place, and is better than Gini.

But I should say that he would come in and add better depth to the midfield but not necessarily transform us to the next level.

If we got him on a free, I wouldn’t be against us simply because we should never be starting the likes of Milner in CM ever again.

 

Me saying I wouldn't take Can isn't me saying I'm happy with our current CMs. It's the area that's in most need of improvement imo. Can isn't better than what we've got, he's a less mobile version of Hendo.
