You said... "Dare I say it, it's a rare bit of good work Labour have actually done in the past year."

I then broke down what they've actually done in the past year. Which is sod all.

You then threw an needless insult my way.

    I explained my point again.

You now mention Labour ensuring no deal is completely avoid is what you mean by good work being done by Labour.

Now I will point out that this particular action by Labour was just over the last week, not in the past year Rob. Now maybe you can understand my replies to you as you said past year and pretty much agreed with me that Labour in this time has done bad work.

    Hope you now understand.

I mentioned the past year because they've been ****. I could have worded it slightly better, but even then, it's really not that difficult to comprehend.

That wasn't very hard was it Rob. Its an awful lot better than throwing insults about hey! Also it would give you a bit of respect too, but you just made yourself look a bit silly resulting to name calling instead. Calling me a numpty then admitting you could have worded your point better! Oh well. Lessons learnt I hope.

For christ's sake 'numpty' is quite clearly a light-hearted term. I've been called worse on here! I'll bear in mind your sensitivity next time :emoticon-0148-yes:

For me, taking the Lord's name in vain is far worse than being called 'numpty'.
Yeh, call me 'precious' or anything you want but I can't help it.

Wiz, what makes it worse is that he is doing so while calling Boris a Liar. The guy is a bigger prat that Boris!

The way all sides are acting in parliament is shambolic, pathetic, embarrassing and more importantly is undemocratic, yet they say their actions are on behalf of democracy. Its a joke. Did anyone watch question time last night? It was the worse I've seen with petty point scoring arguments and the hypocrisy was so blatant, it was embarrassing. Im just fed up with it all.

The reason why Labour don't want a GE is because they know they will lose and lose heavily. They will no longer be the opposition. It will most likely be the Lib Dems. If the Tories win. But I don't think there will be a GE anyway now, until after the leave deadline because all those against the Tories are scared.

So now its down to Boris. He either have to go to the EU to seek an extension - which he said he will not do, which means break the law and then that won't go down well and more legal battles will happen and they will go on for years. Or he will quit as he would have broken his promise about leaving 31st October, no fault of his own as the other parties are playing games.

The SNP are really pissing me off right now too. The hypocrisy from them is staggering. They bang on about Scotland majority voted to remain and it will be undemocratic to take Scotland out of the EU. But at the same time, they are being undemocratic themselves by not accepting the referendum result, which covers the whole UK. To them, its perfectly fine for them to act on behalf of the Scottish voters in the UK referendum to stop Brexit but they get angry at others who are trying to act on behalf of the UK voters, whose majority was to leave the EU. They just don't like democracy unless it suits them. The SNP have said many times they are only in parliament to represent Scotland. So that means they don't actually care about the rest of the UK. Yet they take offence to those who are trying to do the same from England. Like I said, the hypocrisy is staggering.

What makes it even worse is that whatever happens with Brexit when its finally is over, deal, no deal or remain, the SNP will still go for their own referendum on independence from the UK and will probably win and leave the UK. So really their public votes and their politicians votes in parliament shouldn't really be counted and accepted because they will leave the UK anyway so why do they get to have a say about what happens to the UK when they will be leaving anyway?

We need to leave the EU before Scotland leaves the UK. Otherwise, the issue we are having between the Irish border will be far worse between England and Scotland. It will be worse for England as the SNP will do everything to cause issues for the UK to leave the EU. But if we leave the EU before Scotland leave the UK, the UK will have the power and not be held to ransom to Scotland.

My sensitivity has nothing to do with it. I don't think you will find many on here who will agree with you that I am sensitive when it comes to light heartedness and banter or just pure name calling. I've experienced a hell of a lot worse than numpty on this site.

The way I see it Rob, this thread is a very good thread. It has some really good debates and personally, I've enjoyed the debates with yourself and others. But from the start on this thread, have we ever had light hearted remarks or banter between us on the Brexit debate? Now light hearted comments and banter is all well and good. I do it a lot myself, as you probably know. Due to that reputation that I have, I get accused a lot of doing such things on other threads, even when I am not on the wind up. But clearly, as you should know, its only treated as light hearted or banter when both sides actually know its just that. Between us, we've never had a light hearted chat or banter, especially on this thread where we are actually having heated debates. Then you pop up with name calling. How was I suppose to know it was just light hearted? Really in a thread like this, there is no need for name calling because in heated debates, name calling just makes that person look like a numpty :)

I love Scottish people, I think their humour, outlook on life and patience is great and their tenacity is beyond reproach, I think the SNP are total prats, they are selfish, blinkered and totally arrogant but they may do unionists (In the keeping UK together kind) a massive favour, if they vote down the request for another election and the remainers then win at a later date the UK stays in the EU the SNP can no longer say that Scotland is being pulled out of the EU against their will and they lose half of their own argument, they would be better if they granted Boris an early election otherwise they are shooting theirselves in their own feet.

They will still do another referendum to leave the UK even if Brexit doesn't happen.
