good effort - BUT - under the Road Traffic Act the definition of a ROAD encompasses the whole width of adjacent footpaths - plus where did you think pedestrians should go? - you'll probably say ' to hell '

I work for a global organisation - but that does not preclude me from having the ability to read up on different subjects - and I cannot apologise for having some intelligence - but obviously not enough to avoid GC !

Since when does googling British road traffic laws show intelligence?

Please do tell what global organisation you work for? Or why we would care it was global, as jordan pointed out there are plenty of global organisations, not all of them have a selective recruitment process!!

At least credit me with the ability to be able to read ! I did say that I was neither a copper or traffic warden ( or anything to do with any form of ANY law enforcement.) As for the exact nature of my profession - that is private and has no relevance to any aspect of this thread. I was also in a position to give accurate advice on the subject of the thread - instead of the usual throwaway insults on this site ( including my own in the past - and future!)
