If you were stranded on a desert island, which three Charlton players would you most want with you? They can be past or present. Curbs - His methodical approach would ensure the tenure on the island is well organised, well-provisioned and disciplined. Plus, I can imagine him deftly lighting fires and opening coconuts without the loss of vital sustenance. Stuart Balmer - His strength and determination would be instrumental in the felling of trees, hunting and the building of shelters, rafts and equipment. He would keep spirits high and ensure that adherence to Curbs' regime is maintained. Paul Benson - He would be charged with tackling the riskier elements of camp-life, such as scaling tall trees for fruit, nuts and birds' eggs and diving deep for oysters and other edible molluscs. He is an expendable resource. Should we encounter a tribe of devilish cannibals, Benno would be expected to offer himself up as the appeasing sacrifice, thus giving us a chance to make good our escape on the raft that Balmer had so meticulously constructed. Cheers.
david whyte - if i ran out of food i could eat him. plenty to go round carl leaburn - to pick me pineapples from the treetops as im only a little un those doris who used to do the valley gold in the 90s - gosh they were rank and about 100 yrs old. swanned round like some kind of hotties- behave. id have them as i could trade them with the local braves for some and water
Pardew as a punching bag. Killer to bring his trusty gun and make us pies. Nicky Weaver to make a float out of.
gary doherty - can hoof a message in a coconut to the next island as to aid an escape. robbie elliott - obviously knows how to make food / hunt it out gary nelson - seems like would be good banter.
Chris Powell - just when you think he's got lost he'll make an immediate return, even more of a legend than before, whilst also ensuring we eat food in the correct manner rather than throwing it into the air and hoping someone catches it in their mouth. Lee Martin - his face would scare off even the most dangerous predator. BWP - deadly marksman - ideal for catching out any animals whose reactions are a tad too slow. Plus he can nick some of the locals possessions when they're busy entertaining.
