Big day on sunday, the derby, All Ireland minor and senior football final. I had high hopes of being in Dublin for the day, but alas, I'll be at home.
I once got a job on the strength of a telephone interview whilst I was out of my box in Milan watching Celtic. I couldn't believe they gave me the job. I kinda wish I hadn't got it now. You'll be grand, just take it handy.
Thats my cousin working & my pal watching it at his old mans so I might be sober Sunday!! Every other ****er will be going Digbeth (Irish Quarter) for the All Ireland unless I can persuade them to go the CSC first. They did agree to this last week but my cousin & pal also agreed!!
The minors start at half one, so you'll miss a bit of that. Although I'd not be sure they'll have it on over there as Rte don't have the minor finals any more, it os TV3. I can't get TV3 through sky, so can't record it. I'd normally go out for the Huns games, but this is a soccer city and no **** cares about the GAA
excitement building in Zanzibar please log in to view this image I hope they both lose. The knackers have already beaten Kerry once this year (big brother).
Celtic always seem to play same day as the All Ireland..........over here you'd be lucky to get a pub to put the Celtic game on!! Thats why I want to hit the CSC, they have all the games on & should have the GAA on in either the other room or on one of the smaller screens.
Kilmarnock last year. I was in the Croke park hotel and they had a Man United or Liverpool game on 2 tiny screens. The Celtic game was on another screen but I never looked. I managed to go to the game, and drive all the way home (about 3.t hours) and not find out the score so I could see the game "as live".
