Liverpool teenager Bobby Duncan will reportedly undergo a medical in Fiorentina today and will sign a three-year contract with the club. Bobby Duncan: Liverpool agree deal to sell forward to Fiorentina https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49549403
Duncan gone to fionrentina then. Interesting one that, given he was apparently highly rated, somethibg has obviously gone on there. Doesnt add up well for him that both his moves from city to us and us to Fiorentina, have come from big contract disputes etc
Yeah, his agents a dick! Two moves before even making a senior appearance ffs He's not even got a wiki page yet
well him & his agent forced the move thru with the "mental health" & "bullying" claims . My guess is Fiorentina have signed him with a view to selling him back to an english club for a nice profit in a couple of years.
He's crap. His agent is just trying to cash in on being related to Gerrard now rather than have him actually make first team appearances and be #exposed
LFC thought they'd invested enough in him to not let him leave on a loan with zero commitment to buy and just let his contract wind down for absolutely nothing. He left for £2m, which basically covers his training costs. You pay more than that for "free" transfers.
They already said he wasn't getting a new contract, doesn't mean they just let him walk for nothing on his current one though.
didn't say they should let him go for nowt but the club demanding a decent fee rather proves the point that LFC accept he has qualities though perhaps not enough to make it here.
It wasn't a "decent fee" it was covering expenses paid. Michael Edwards got back the money LFC spent on him. If you can work like that all the time it makes young players a no-risk gamble so you are guaranteed to win in the long run when you do find a player that's actually good.
