Footballers and ex footballers should have enough money to be able to pay for a hotel room or worst case a driver.

What a tool. Out of interest I wonder what would be the worse outcome out of providing a test (considering he was battered) or refusing. I thought the police were slightly evasive in their responses to him. Made me think that actually if they've not got on record that he was 10x over the limit he might not get as strict a punishment.

 

I just took the piss and said " yeah ive had a good drink im not in trouble here am I " . He made me wait 20 mins and i laughed at the polis when i passed . I knew id had exactly 1.8 units in a bottle of bud... he was devastated.

Drink driving is never good.

Whe had a visit from the police at work last year to give us a talk on drugs and alcohol.

The driver died instantly (he had been drinking) and the passenger was alive but trapped.
He called the police.
They played us a recording of the call and stopped the recording just as the young lad noticed smoke on the car.
He was burned alive.
They showed us a photo of the audi and you could only make out it was an audi from the centre cap in one of the wheels.
To top it off, his mam had borrowed money for the driver to buy the car and was still paying for the car.
Quite horrific and disturbing.

ok so hes had a few pints and drove his car but it seems to me people care more about drink driving than drug dealing these days … its like society picks and chooses the witches to burn.... burn them all or say nothing … I say nothing

 

Because a drug dealer is handing over a product to a purchasing customer. Like it or not, addicted or not, that drug user is making a choice to purchase that drug.

If Dean Saunders slams into the back of a car and kills the baby in the back seat, it's a slightly different situation.

the person crossing the road getting knocked over might be to blame anyway... pissing about on their phones.
