What's happened to our board?

It's one of the reasons why I post so much on the Sunderland board tbh. Most of their first page is filled with active footballing discussions. Granted, it isn't about Newcastle, but sometimes football is football.

Can't bear to go on there board right now, its too depressing . Just make sure we don't get that depressing if/when we have a bad run.

 

Peoples own ****ing online reputation seems to be up there for these people. Why can the mods not just delete the posts? And leave something saying this is now a football related place. There is a general chat area for these people. It's like people smoking in a pub. There is a smoking area, why smoke over here? **** off.

 

To be fair I don't mind the odd non football topic on here, though there have been a few silly ones recently. As for the General Chat don't go on there as I don't like most of the people on there.

Bit over the top, okay theres a match tomorrow but how many threads can you have on one game? Does taylor and Ameobi start, what formation, what score, what else can you talk about., the ironic thing is you will start complain when every single thread is on the game and same topic, cant win with some people!

 

This might not be the best way to put it, but if you went to the shop for a lb of butter to make some sarnies, and the shopkeeper gave you a pound of sugar, you wouldn't be best pleased.

A bit like coming onto a football forum and finding it's all talk about games, music, films etc.

 

Cant a mod merge the game threads into the gaming thread. Think the other OT ones are the reason ebars dying

Can see ya point but its good to talk about the odd other thing on here, not things like seeded bread rolls or whatever it was or Tash getting a job interview but the odd one, like the Sexy Poll, Shearer's ebar or the rep thread.

 

Those music threads are pissing me off to be honest, I mean.. 3 of them? Really? Keep them in the same thread for fecks sake, it's the same topic

 

I'll have you know, my sandwiches are much sought after on trips to the away games.

 

I think the lack of a new header is demotivating everyone.

 

I know that is going over the top, remember the Max, Maxine saga a few months back, there were 3 or 4 similar ones, then there was the drugs one where people (including myself) created threads about it, thankfully one of the mods put them into one thread.

 

Yep completely agree. I thought it was gonna be a WAG or female footballer poll but it quickly turned into a porn fest.

This. Even if not much to talk about atm, a footballing page should remain a footballing page. And there's already the General Chat for off topics...

 

Really am more demotivated with not having a job than what the picture at the top of this page is.
