Oh that was such a satisfying win against a horrible ****house club. We dominated and bullied them. Our defence were on point and VVD won everything. Their **** centre forwards had nothing to feed on. Our midfield was really good today from a defensive POV. Intense, quick, snappy, won a lot of first and second balls, which was the key. Hendo and gini were really good, and Fabinho gives that excellent protection to the back line. Our front 3 - what else can we say. Give them the ball and they will score. We are a machine and I’m glad we are still going on.
Don’t even think it was that hard. Our team is machine like. We have the technical quality but we also have the bite to match the more physical teams.
Thought their formation in the first half was very clever but once they were chasing it they opened up.
Our first clean sheet comes against a team that has managed to score against us in the last 6 meetings. We probably won't concede for the rest of the season now.
Not best performance in the world but got job done. Looked comfortable all day considering Burnley are awkward team. Hopefully klopp has a word with salah, 3/4 chances to pass it and even on firms goal he wasn’t looking for a pass.
Comfortable in the end but Burnley are the sort of side that will provide a threat against anyone over 90 mins. I thought we coped with that threat pretty well, Adrian wasn't worked that often. Feels good to get a dodgy away done and dusted, we are looking very, very good atm.
