For me it would be better to get 3 points against Blackpool on Saturday and getting back into the top 6 of League 1, than having an orgasm thinking about playing Saints.
I know I post a bit about self entitled fans never being satisfied, but Ralph and the lads I DEMAND a similar score to this one against the Skates!...
I also loved Guly!! I often watched him glide gracefully over the pitch at St Mary´s picking up a pass, passing it on, opening up the opposition defence. I think the guy had more skill than the rest of the team combined, and that Saints side had bags of skill. And yet there were still morons giving him grief.
Thinking about it 4-1 would be poetic and we could piss them off with I for one jokes for ages!.... Although 7 up jokes would be even better!....
Unless we are in with a shout of the top 7, I would much rather make a go of the cups. But in reality, one thing trumps everything, and that's beating Pompey. Talk of cups and leagues is pure fantasy, but beating those lot is reality.
Probably my most memorable day as a Saints fan, we oldies still talk about it regularly when we get together. So many stories even though it is such a short journey!. Even the Skates at work talk about it!.
