The more I think about it the more I think that the bubble is going to be harder to implement on a weeknight.

It's mental init, been waiting for this match for years and now we have it I can't wait it to be over.

3 ****ing weeks <yikes>

I never understood why so many fans kept wanting to draw Pompey....my fear of losing just goes into overdrive. The only thing calming that down is the fact that it won't affect our league position....and that is my main concern at the moment. Makes Pompey irrelevant....though obviously we will have to nuke the place if we lose.

But league 1 against any Premier league side (taking away our emotions) means we have little to fear.

Do you remember when we were L1. You know, that cup game where we had no fear & gave them a hell of a scare.
We better take this game seriously, or we are going to have more than egg on our face.

The game where they hadn't won in about 15 games in the league and were rock bottom, had a terrible team (for PL standards) yet still won 4-1?

Well, its a foregone conclusion then. I can't wait to see who we get in the QF's. <bubbly>

No I didn't say that, just that there will be quite a gulf in class between the two sides. We had a very good L1 side back then (half of them played in the PL a couple of years later) but still got battered in terms of the scoreline against a terrible PL side. As long as the players are up for it then we should be too good for them. Whether the players are up for it is the main question
