    We’ve got the better players and the better manager, we’re two leagues above them...what could possibly go wrong...

    In all seriousness, I hope the players really grasp how important this game is. Anything can happen in cup games, especially against your local rivals. They need to be up for it, they need to be prepared to work and graft for it, and they need to be mentally prepared for what will be an electric and hostile atmosphere.

    I fancy the likes of Maya, Pierre and Oriol will be well up for it and will make sure the others are too. I’m sure Danny Ings will be able to get across how much it means for the city as well. Even guys like JWP will be able to make that clear.

    I don’t doubt that Ralph will do his homework too.
