If he thinks he's better than playing for the U23's and fighting to get into the first team then good luck to him but he's under contract and we don't have to do anything. If we decide that because of his behaviour (or his agents) we'll force him to see out his contract then tough **** fella.
I imagine he's arrogant enough to not give a **** but it may mean that Duncan realises who he's got representing him.
Prior to this, I assume we refused him going out on loan as we rate him highly. As Klopp has said if they are good enough, they stay and develop within. Unlike serial loanees who will eventually be sold (Wilson, Kent, Woodburn etc)
Rumour has it that we were happy to look at his contract and rated him highly but made a massive U Turn based on his agents demands for wages and playing time.

We seem to have reached a new low of Football agency, and we thought the Sterling situation was bad, exploiting mental illness to make money off a transfer. If he was serious he would take this up with the club in private to protect the players mental health, not blasted out on twitter.
Simple for the club to deal with imo. They've already issued a statement saying they'll deal with it in house adding that the agent is a **** (not quite in those words). They they need to speak to Duncan and se what he wants. If he wants to stay, tell him to change his agent otherwise he needs to find a club willing to meet our terms.
