For a minute I read that as a 5-5-4 formation and thought you'd gone mad <laugh>

So do we play a system to involve Bakinson, Baker 0r Williams along side Taylor - Moore, that is all they are asking, nothing evil about that. :emoticon-0126-nerd:

I think LJ will go 4-5-1 for the Boro game. He then has the international break to see who is back fit, and reassess from there.

    Bentley

    Perira/Hunt Moore Baker Rowe

    Weinmann Brownhill Walsh Massonga CoD/Elliasson

    Afobe

    Subs:
    Perrira or Hunt
    COD or Elliasson
    Fammy
    Williams
    Palmer
    Bakinson
    Maeenpa

I sacrificed Semenyo for Bakinson, in case LJ has doubts over Willam's fitness. Who else will start in midfield? We will be too exposed defensively if he has Weinmann, Brownhill, Palmer, Massonga and COD/Eliasson - they are all predominantly attacking midfielders. Brownhill would be the one most likely to drop in and anchor the midfield, but it's risky. If he doesn't rate Walsh enough to use in this situation, where we really lack central midfield cover, then surely he needs to be moved on?

Walsh hasn't even made the bench yet so would be really surprised if he were to come straight in to start. Semenyo has to be in the squad as he is the only home grown player we have in the first team squad

Good point on Walsh; however, he did start the cup game vs QPR. Would Bakinson be a home gown player?

Yes he did but I would have expected him to make the bench as soon as Nagy was injured to provide cover but he didn't which makes me feel he's not ready to be starting Saturday. And no we signed Bakinson from Luton

If you bothered to read the thread, you would of noticed that it’s already been brought to my attention and acknowledged 24 hours ago.

    So why the condescending capitals?

I am not overly familiar with the rules, however, if he was born in London and was at Luton and then us for a combined 3 year period before turning 21, surely this makes him 'home-grown', or does he have to be on City's books for three years before the age of 21 to count?

    Very confusing rules!

I think the confusing bit is using 'Home Grown' its more accurate to say 'Club trained' and A “club-trained player” is defined as a player who, between the age of 15 and 21, irrespective of their age or nationality, has been registered with their current club for a period, continuous or non-continuous, of three seasons or of 36 months between the ages of 15 and 21.

We signed Bakinson in August 2017 so need to wait another year for him to qualify

He only has to be on the books of ANY UK team for 3 years to qualify.
As an example, a french lad could move to scotland at 15, play in their system for 3 or 4 years then you sign him. He's classed as home grown.
    Think thats right anyway.
