I apologise in advance for my rant but having missed out on Fulham away I feel it's justified. My problem is that the qualification points for when you could buy your ticket were too extreme. For example the first date where tickets went on sale you would have had to have been to every match including purchasing your ticket for Wolves. Fair enough, those die hard'uns deserve to have first dibs. However the second qualification was 140 points which is the exact amount you get for renewing your season ticket. Personally Im on 153 having gone to Everton and Rochdale and failed to get a ticket. This makes me quite bitter as someone who could have just bought a season ticket and not gone to an away match or go to the cup game could have and most likely probably have got a ticket whereas I havent. Personally I think there should have been an inbetween point. Something like 150 points. or even 145. A point where you would have had to have gone to a match beside the two home games to qualify. Im still hopeful of getting a ticket but am pretty pissed off at having missed out. Am I being reasonable or just bitter? Rant over.
Scotland - Did you pay the extra £35 they were asking for at the beggining of the season? I paid this which guaranteed the Fulham ticket. I only went to the Rochdale game but also purchased tickets for the Wolves game.
As as season ticket holder who hasn't been to an away match yet (but is going to Wolves tomorrow), I'm sympathetic. Something in between would have rewarded fans like you. Can't see why the box office couldn't have had a 150 points day yesterday. If you feel strongly, send them an e-mail PS Since you went to Rochdale, I think they should be GIVING you a Fulham ticket by way of apology PPS I had to buy my Fulham ticket from an agent too, as per previous thread
Nah I didnt. Im so angry. That "Super Hoop" thing was a scam in my eyes. Pay more money to be able to pay more money and with that money it'll qualify you to buy more money. Turns out that that's what did it though.
Goldhawk - They dont hold your ticket! The £35 basically gave you an extra 30 loyalty points which gave 170 in total if renewing from last season. I paid it. I wasnt happy about it but when the fixture list came out I knew it would be the only way to guarantee my Wolves and Fulham tickets as I couldnt go to Everton and Wigan. To be honest, im bloody glad I paid it now with the hassle most of you guys are having.
Thanks, Sam. I agree it looks worthwhile now, with the competition for tickets. Those were the Goon days so you had the foresight...
