  2. Why Gosling? He's done nothing to justify getting a start. He's been ****e apart from one friendly.

How can he ever justify his place if we never give him a start? What has Marveaux done to "justify" one?

  5. More than Gosling mate <ok>

In every game he's played so far he's looked good. He's shown promise which is more than Gosling has shown.

Marvueax has done more to deserve a start.

  6. Despite being off form he's still playing a good part in matches. He still gets starts because he's still playing quite well, and we all know that given time, once he gets back of form it will be worth showing faith in him.

Gosling deserves a chance as a sub, but not a start.

Based on what? Gosling was MOTM in one of the America games, played great when he came on v Sunderland and is head and shoulders above anyone else when playing at the reserves. Marveaux has "looked good", but no more so than Gosling, who is still a very young player.

People are saying Raylor will get ripped t shreds by Zoggy but I don't think Ferguson will be able to cope either, and I wouldn't want to shatter a promising youngster's performance.

Does Zog play on the left or the right at Villa? Or does he do both?

I'd prefer Fergie to Raylor because a) he's a natural left footer and b) none of our fit full backs can cope with Zog, so he might as well get another game under his belt.

Didn't Pards try 5-3-2 in a game last season and we got reamed? Can't remember the game.

That was at Stoke, we lost 4-0 with Sol Campbell having a shocker.

    I'm all about 4-4-1-1

    Krul
    Simmo Tayls Colo Fergie

    Jonas Tiote Cabaye Marv

    Gosling

    Best

Granted it may be too early for Gosling but he played that position against norwich and looked very creative (and I was there, not just reading reports). If not Gosling would put Raylor RW and Jonas behind Best
