yeah, all the self-created problems being blamed on one person sounds about right. Personally I don't see it as Thatcher's fault that british heavy industry was totally ****ed, or that our coal mines (of which ALL the deep iming pits are closed now becua they are uncompetitive) were seriously sucking the wealth of the country. Who knows how bad it would've become if we'd still been throwing money down the pits, or kept paying vast sums of money building cars no one was going to buy because they were dog-****. The economy was ****ed with 10% and rising inflation, something had to be done and someone had to do it.
I spend a fair amount of time on there and you're full of ****, I'd also like to add that you are a bit of a whiny little bitch on here so you should probably think about that before tagging a whole board.
who is whining? Just stating the facts. Everyone 'got ****ed over' by Thatcher, but only Liverpool make it about them. should blame Hatton really, he's the one who really ****ed you over. Another 'man of the people' who ended up wealthy while his supporters got ****ed.. oh, and btw, I come from a small little ex-mining village on the corner of the breacon beacons. It took a far bigger hit than Liverpool did, but once again, no one died because of it. Nor did it destroy the village, in fact it probably made it stronger.
I left their young, but spent most school holidays there cos half the village was family. went to school in surrey, so I sound more like Hugh Grant than a taff or wannabe Kray.
No offence like but when you started on about little mining villages on the edge of the Breacon Beacons, @Matth_2014 flashed through my head.. Kudos for explaining bro..
And none of this has anything to do with the fact that you can pop on the Liverpool board anytime and if you try not to why like a **** there are some good posters on there.
My dad was a miner at wearmouth colliery, which is now the the sire off the SOL.. I t';s built off the old mine. You have a very simplistic way of looking at things. You ever seen your family struggle when they close an industry down? Guess not, just waffle.
