How difficult would it be to replace the rice with creamed mash?

 

Or replace the rice with mash, and the stew with mince and dumplings..

I was only asking for some secret little tips, not a whole change off menu.

 

How is it a change? other than the rice, it's only one item ffs.

I was looking for some secret little tips like hoy in some worcester sauce etc.

 

The pic I posted is not mine but it is just a simple savoury beef mince stew with a little veg, it even has mushrooms hoyed in it. Personally I also wouldn't have chosen rice either, maybe mash or polenta but demo would have included dumplings.

 

Yep, Worscester sauce or even some Bisto/oxo wouldn't go amiss.

 

So back to my point mate, any secret ingredients, herbs etc?

 

Oh there will be Oxo

 

a small spoonful of ground cumin, Marmite, mustard, thyme, celery, marjoram, sage, rosemary, oregano, garlic.

Any of the above would help.

How about you buy a dozen condoms, stuff the mince inside them with some breadcrumbs, tie the ends up. Voila - sausages again.
