Off to north west Sardinia sunday.Done the north east 3 yrs ago.Great island to explore and chill and big enough
to keep you busy.

 

I wasn’t keen on Sardinia tbh, I thought it was really expensive for what it was. I couldn’t see what all the fuss was about.

 

Don't know where you went,but i loved it .Best beaches in Europe.

 

I’m off this weekend for twelve days, Vale Do Lobo. I have a bad feeling the bank balance is gonna take a good beating, judging by the things my Mrs has kindly planned for us all.

 

Everything seems expensive at the minute as the GBP is so ****. The hotel staff here like to rib the Brits that the Kuna was 11 to the pound not long ago. Now it’s less than 8 which stings when you’re converting the cost of your lunchtime pint.

 

Well, that's it.

Back to work tomorrow, the holiday's are officially over for me. Had a fantastic chilled day on a local beach followed by a great bit of food and drink with mates.

Not even sure what the correct thread to post all this on is, could have picked any on from five or six?


Definitely not depressed either.

Or having a chinky.

Next holiday will be Feb, which will be off to the French Alps to freeze me kniackers off in the van and ski. Definitely recommend it.

 

Conversion rate is the least of my worries mate.

 

I found the locals a bit ****ish in Dubrovnik.
