City will be winning 2-0 until the last 5 mins then we'll lose 3-2. BUT!!!! I remember Stuart Pearson Scoring 4 goals in a 4-0 victory for City against Pompey.
I don't think I've seen a victory against them since.

I think I saw us beat them in the late 80's, early 90's but can't remember for sure, John Moncur was playing for them and (I think) Martin Allen.

Cant wait for tomorrow ! I rarely go to away games,so what with the international break,it's felt like the close season.

Predicted on another thread that City would win 4-0. (Waghorn(2), Cairney, Brady)
Will stick with that, don't want to appear greedy.

Seeing as I'm nearly 80 I am allowed a lapse of memory, I can only remember Pearsons 4 goals as he signed my daughters programme after the match. As for a prediction of tomorrows score, unfortunately City have promised so much in the past only to let us down very quickly (promotion year a bit different) I have become a Hull City Pessimist
"With hope in my heart". Pompey seem to be a bogy team for us now but I want to see City back in the top flight whist I can still occasionally go to see them. Ok I'll go 1-0 to City.

    1-0 City (Waghorn)

The kid is seriously talented and I see him scoring his first City goal tomorrow.

My only concern is that Pompey are a big physical side, plenty of experience & the City CBs have to stand up to them. McKenna will have to put his body on the line.

I wouldn't play Cairney against Pompey, I'd select Evans as I think he can put up with more of the rough stuff. Obviously Dudgeon in for Dawson..
